Andrea and LATHER have teamed up to create new Sandalwood Rose Soap and a Soap for Hope gift set and were pleased to launch both products at an all-day shopping event at the store. Actress Andrea Evans will reprise her role as Celebrity Ambassador for City of Hope's annual Walk for Hope to Cure Breast Cancer events held in cities across the country. Evans, whose mother is a breast cancer survivor, will join survivors across the country, and their friends and families, to take steps to support breast cancer research, treatment and education programs at City of Hope's annual Walk for Hope to Cure Breast Cancer. The Walks support City of Hope, a leading biomedical research and treatment center for cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

This will mark the eighth consecutive year Evans has dedicated her time and efforts to the Walk for Hope and other related City of Hope activities. The Emmy-nominated star of ABC's One Life to Live is also renowned for her roles on the Young and the Restless, the Bold and the Beautiful and Passions.

"I am proud to once again be representing City of Hope's Walk for Hope in 2008 to continue my support of City of Hope," said Evans. "As the daughter of a breast cancer survivor, this cause is near and dear to my heart. Our show focused on "The Women of Desperate Housewives" and the remarkable lives and careers of the actresses who play them. 39th Annual Victor Awards

Las Vegas, Nevada, July 16, 2005. Andrea Evans, who stars on NBC-TV's "Passions" as Rebecca Hotchkiss Crane, joined a bevy of celebrities and athletes at the 39th annual Victor Awards, which were held at the Flamingo Las Vegas. This annual event is televised on the Fox Sports Network (schedule attached). The Victor Awards, the longest-running sports awards presentation in the history of television, directly benefit the City of Hope National Medical Center. Andrea served as a presenter on the show and was introduced by Dr. Michael Freeman, the President and CEO of the City of Hope, who acknowledged Andrea's role as the Celebrity Ambassador for the City of Hope's Walks for Hope to Cure Breast Cancer. She presented the award for the Men's College Basketball Coach of the Year to the University of Illinois' Bruce Weber. Incidentally, Andrea happens to be an alumnus of that college.

SOAP STAR ANDREA EVANS GETS BELATED MOTHER'S DAY GIFT

Andrea received what she calls "the perfect Mother's Day gift" when she and her husband Steve adopted their first child. The American born baby, Kylie Lyn, was born on Mother's Day which fell on May 9th, 2004 and weighed in at 7 lb. 1 oz. She is now residing with her new family in Southern California. Andrea noted, "Kylie's arrival sort of upholds a family tradition as I was born on a Father's Day." She also said that "even though the process took the better part of a year, it was totally worth the wait."
